Barry Powell, M.Div., D.D., Ph.D. is the Founder and Senior Apostolic Leader and Covering of Grace4Life Xperience International Church (One Church, Three Locations)—a non-denominational fellowship of believers and one of Volusia County’s most unique churches. He is a strong and widely acknowledged international voice in the apostolic reformation and is known as an “Apostolic Reformer” and disciple-maker, graced with a powerful fathering anointing.

He is recognized as an emerging modern-day apostle with both apostolic and prophetic anointings to empower, prepare, call, equip, and encourage the Body of Christ. Active in ministry since 1984, he has founded and established eight churches, an apostolic Bible college, The Apostolos Episcopal Academy (an academy for training and preparing apostles), and Grace4Life Apostolic Leadership Alliance: The Gathering of Shepherds, a covering network that brings the five-fold ministry together to advance kingdom vision.

In 2012, he relocated from Georgia to Florida and launched a new church plant known as Full Counsel Bible Fellowship, which later became FullCounsel – Daytona, a satellite campus under the leadership of Bishop Silas and Dr. Jennifer Johnson of the megachurch FullCounsel Metrochurch (www.fullcounsel.org). He served faithfully as campus pastor for four years until May 2015, when Bishop Silas Johnson released him to birth his own vision.

His anointed messages go beyond surface-level preaching, ministering to those broken by the enemy. He preaches under a strong apostolic and prophetic mantle, delivering thought-provoking messages that awaken the Body of Christ to its greatest spiritual potential.

Apostle Powell serves as a progressive and proficient man of God, passionate about equipping spiritual leaders and the body of Christ with practical tools and training for effective ministry. He hosts MECCA Grace Leadership Conference, Let’s Be Real and Get It Right Marriage Conferences, and Grace4Life Empowerment Seminars, crusades, and training sessions.

He currently serves as the apostolic voice and covering for the Grace4Life Apostolic Leadership Alliance. He was consecrated as a bishop on February 24, 2004, in Orange City, Florida by Bishop Dr. Harry V. Reese III of Rochester, NY. He was affirmed and ordained as an apostle on November 3, 2010, by Apostle Paul Thornton (www.ptministries.org) of Smyrna, GA. Most recently, he received his Prophet Certification from the School of Prophetic Ministry of FullCounsel Bible College (www.fullcounselbiblecollege.org) under the instruction of Prophetess Dr. Jennifer Johnson.

He is joyfully married to Pastor/Prophetess Chiko Powell, who faithfully serves alongside him. Together, they have four wonderful children and reside in Central Florida.
